Missed Connections

‘Missed Connections’ is Soviet Bloc Party’s first full length circus show. It lands at Lyric Hall in New Haven on June 8th and 9th, 2012!




From the darkest corners of to the chaos of Bradley International Airport, Missed Connections explores human relationships gone awry through the gritty medium of urban circus. This is a show featuring five young circus performers of the highest caliber that Connecticut has to offer. Making use of traditional circus arts such as juggling, and new ones such as aerial acrobatics, Missed Connections is at turns funny, sexy, and melancholy, but always exciting. New Haven has never seen anything like it. 


In March we launched a Kickstarter to raise funds in order to cover the cost of renting Lyric Hall, costumes and props. Within 24 hours of launching, our project was chosen as a staff pick; 48 hours after launch we had met over 90% of our fundraising goal.
